Angel team Terrible Turks blew away the competition this past weekend during their final home tournament before next weeks Centurio EEPL Moscow event. Coming into the TPPL Istanbul event as favorites, Terrible Turks wasted no time in winning their first 5 preliminary games to finish Saturday as the only undefeated team on the scoreboard. The preliminary games were wrapped up on the following day with two more wins for the Angel team, who finished leaps ahead of the other teams.
The quarter finals saw Terrible Turks come up with 3 more wins from 3 games to guarantee a place in the semis. It wasn’t until the second game of the best-of-three semifinal set that the Angel team lost their first game of the tournament when their opponents made the score 1-1, only for Terrible Turks to win the next game with 4 men standing and advance on to the finals. The finals are scheduled to be played following the Centurio event in Moscow.
Terrible Turks is an Angel team that make full use of the advantages provided by the most technologically advanced paintball marker in the world, the Angel 1 by WDP with Joy/Rage settings. The team participates in all local events as well as the Centurio EEPL Series, in which they placed third in the first event of the year in Greece.
