Just made it back after our trip to the Belgium leg of the Millennium, The location was poor being situated in a farmers field a good 30 to 40 mins drive from the closest hotels.
For me and the teams it was a mixed event, with Joy putting in some great performances but eventually losing in the finals to the Philly Dogs by 1 point, Joy still hold the overall lead in the series and only need to make the last 4 to secure the title, but they will not be happy or satisfied unless they beat the Philly dogs on the field to close the season out with a double victory.
The Stockholm Maharajas also put in a good performance but will feel like they should have advanced into the final 4 in the SPL division.
Bad element also played well with a little help from Tyson from Sly and narrowly failed to make the Sunday Club in Division 1.
In Division 2 Angel newcommers Azimut put in a great performance to qualify through to Sunday heading up their division. Although unable to make it into the final stages on this event with a bit more experience and maybe some coaching I do not think it will be long before these guys are climbing up the divisions in Europe.
